The Flood of 2021 - Hurricane Ida Floods Philadelphia

On the evening of September 1st, 2021 the remnants of Hurricane Ida passed over Philadelphia, PA. The colossal storm produced historic flooding in the city of the likes which has not been seen in living memory. I-676, arguably the major traffic artery at the heart of the city, colloquially known as the Vine St Expressway (upon which my former high school was situated above), flooded entirely and remained as such for days on end.

Climate change has come to Philadelphia. It is real and it is getting worse.
